This is the part of my life-story. There will be a movie version of it.

1. In the Soviet Ukraine with communistic regime, that was at that time the part of Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) in Mykolayiv Region, the town Novyy Bug in 1960, with Sagittarius signs of  zodiac was born a male child. His parents gave him name Yurii after the first astronaut Yurii Gagarin. The child was handicapped and that was a real shock for his parents and relatives, so as his parents were very healthy people. The doctors, who examined the newborn child, made the conclusion that the pathology is too serious and the child was fated. They considered that his live wouldn’t last for more than a month. The child was crying all the time. The doctors decided to repeat examination and to make analyses of his bone marrow.

Yurii’s great-grandfather, whose name was Feodosii, was 85 year old at that time. He wasn’t a regular person and he had his own important reasons to hate the Soviet Administration. The grandfather came to the maternity hospital at 3 a.m. on the cart with two black horses, having taken a gun with him. With threats he took his great-grandson and they left to some unknown place. Three days later the grate-grandfather came back with the child. Yurii was sleeping, that surprised his parents greatly. Feodosii told: “I took Yurii to a wise woman, we must not wake the child up until he awakes himself. She also told me that he would have a long life and his destiny is not an ordinary one. People will follow him and his life will be risky until he is 40”. In 3 days Yurii woke up.

2. Yurii was 4 year old, he had just found his feet and his parents were happy. They bought a cycle for him. He had a lot of friends of the same age and older ones. He didn’t go to the kindergarten because of his disease. The child was growing in a warm environment. His friends did their best to help him. They  didn’t tease him, because he was respected by them.
When Yurii was 6 year old, a teacher named Lidia Grigorievna, who had taught his father years before, started visiting him, she prepared him for school. On the first of September Yurii became the pupil of the first form of a regular secondary school. At school Lidia Grigorievna was his first teacher. Very quickly Yurii won respect of his classmates and schoolmates, they didn’t care his  physical disability, everybody respected him, and nobody teased him.
After half a year at the first form Yurii demonstrated his talent in mathematics. When he was transferred to the second form he took part in school contest in mathematics. After that followed municipal, regional contests and the republican one which took place in Kyiv, that was the capital of Ukrainian SSR and every time he won the first places. When Yurii was finishing the third form, he received an invitation to take part in All-Union contest in mathematics, that had to take place in Moscow, the capital of the USSR.
When they started preparing documents for participation in the contest the organizers learned that the participant is a handicapped person.   They stated: «In communist society there are no handicapped children, drug addicts, and prostitution and they cannot exist. These are social phenomena, characteristic only for capitalist society. They agreed only for Yurii’s secret participation in the contest that had to be the following: Yurii had to stay in an other room and make tasks for the contest, which had to be given to the participant, who takes part in the contest instead of him.
Yurii’s parents rejected this kind of participation. After that Yurii completely lost his interest for study and he never had it again.

3. Yurii finished school in 1977 with good progress, but at that time he once more  experienced the injustice of state system of education. Because of his disease, mentioned in his medical record, he couldn’t be enrolled to the full-time department of any institute. He could study only at correspondence department, but this form of education didn’t help to get knowledge and it was rather difficult to find a job with this kind of education. In 1975 Yurii started driving the car ВАЗ-2103, that belonged to his father. Yurii watched how his father drives and he managed to invent special devices, which could help him to drive. His father’s friend, uncle Viktor, who was a turner made these devices and this is how Yurii changed his bicycle for a car. It changed Yurii’s live greatly. More people started to perceive him as a serious young man, who strived to win respect and definite status in his life, but not as a handicapped person who has only his disability pension in the amount of 16 soviet rubles and waits manna from the government.
Yurii became a speculator, this status in the USSR was disgraceful, but very profitable, because more and more people in Soviet Union wanted to have beautiful clothing, but not to wear those, made in the USSR which were completely uniform. This is how he met a very serious and influential for that time man, a mafia boss. This person offered Yurii a job. He had to be a driver and to do some other things…
After that Yurii’s life changed greatly to good…
